Tuesday Nights with Visa

Martes de Visa Bogota

When I first moved back to Bogotá a couple of years ago I couldn’t understand why restaurants were soooo full on Tuesday nights. Tuesday night? It seemed a little random but I got used to it. Soon after I was informed about a clever little incentive called Martes de Visa or Visa Tuesdays.

It turns out  that on Tuesday nights in the Colombian cities of Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Santa Marta, Cúcuta and Cartagena you can enjoy 30% off dinner at participating restaurants when you use your Visa card. It’s not a bad deal for the consumer or the restaurateur.

Visit the website and get a list of recommended and (obviously) participating restaurants.

So, now it’s Tuesday and I’m sure you’re getting hungry…
